Oil & Gas Africa – La porte d’entrée vers l’industrie pétrolière et gazière d’Afrique de l’Est
Le salon international OIL & GAS KENYA est un salon d’affaires de premier plan pour les principaux acteurs de la communauté pétrolière et gazière, attirant les principales sociétés pétrolières, gazières et pétrolières du monde entier. Cet événement commercial international constitue la seule opportunité de réseautage dans la région de l’Afrique de l’Est, riche en ressources, pour de nombreux opérateurs de premier plan du pays. Oil & Gas Kenya offre aux participants l’opportunité de présenter les derniers produits, services et technologies de l’industrie aux visiteurs professionnels de toute l’Afrique de l’Est et centrale ainsi qu’à plusieurs organismes commerciaux régionaux au Kenya, en Tanzanie, en Éthiopie, en Ouganda, en Somalie, au Mozambique et au Congo.
L’industrie pétrolière et gazière du Kenya est un secteur relativement nouveau mais prometteur, qui englobe les activités d’exploration et de développement pétrolier et gazier en amont, le développement des infrastructures pétrolières intermédiaires et les activités en aval, notamment la fabrication et le commerce de gros et de détail de carburants raffinés et de produits pétroliers. Le Kenya a attiré les sociétés pétrolières et gazières non seulement en raison de ses ports et de sa situation stratégique, mais aussi parce que le gouvernement souhaite développer l’exploration des ressources. Les découvertes de pétrole en Ouganda et au Kenya et les gisements de gaz découverts au large de la Tanzanie et du Mozambique ont fait de l’Afrique de l’Est un point chaud pour l’exploration des hydrocarbures. L’industrie pétrolière et gazière du Kenya contribue à environ 4 % du PIB du pays.
Le secteur pétrolier et gazier en amont nécessite divers types d’équipements et de services, tels que des appareils de forage, des études sismiques, des tests de puits, de la diagraphie, de la cimentation, de la stimulation, de la complétion, de la production, de la maintenance, du déclassement, de la gestion environnementale, de la sécurité, de la logistique et du conseil. Il existe des opportunités pour les entreprises locales et étrangères de fournir ces équipements et services aux opérateurs pétroliers et gaziers en amont au Kenya.
