Une étude du cabinet de conseil « Nouvelles Donnes» révèle que le groupe bancaire marocain Attijariwafa Bank a porté sa part du parc d’agences bancaires en Afrique de l’Ouest et centrale à plus de 55% contre moins de 20% en 2009.
Si l’étude s’avère, la banque au logo sinusoïdal dépasse désormais le nombre d’implantations de Société Générale de BNP Paribas dans les deux sous-régions du continent.
Collectées dans 66 pays et auprès de 840 établissements bancaires, ces données publiées par le cabinet Nouvelles Donnes montrent que la croissance des ouvertures de nouveaux points de vente a atteint à 7,7 % en 2013 après cinq années de ralentissement.
