C’est un taux de croissance de 7% qui est attendu en 2017 en Djibouti, d’après le gouvernement qui a adopté mardi 6 décembre en conseil des ministres, le budget de l’année prochaine. Ce budget équilibré en recettes et en dépenses est arrêté à 670 millions de dollars, a-t-on appris par voie officielle.
Selon les autorités Djiboutiennes, le taux de croissance de 7% prévu pour 2017 est basé sur l’accroissement des investissements directs et le dynamisme productif des secteurs économiques à savoir les activités portuaires, télécommunications, aéroportuaires et zones franches.
Ce budget est axé sur la réforme de la fiscalité à travers la mise en place des mesures adéquates conformément aux recommandations des assisses de la fiscalité, le renforcement de la gestion des investissements publics, la diversification de l’économie et la stabilité financière.
A travers le budget 2017, l’Etat prévoit également la poursuite du dégel des avancements des agents de l’Etat, la poursuite du programme d’investissements des infrastructures en cours d’exécution dont le terminal minéralier de Tadjourah, le Port de Goubet, la mise en place d’aqueduc pour l’approvisionnement de l’eau.
Le projet de dessalement d’eau de mer, la seconde ligne d’interconnexion électrique avec l’Ethiopie, les constructions des logements, ainsi que la réalisation de forages exploratoires géothermiques sont pris en compte dans le projet de budget 2017.
