Le Groupe OCP, leader mondial des phosphates et dérivés, à travers sa filiale OCP Africa, organise le 19 décembre 2017, dans la ville camerounaise de Bafoussam, une conférence réunissant plus d’une centaine de producteurs agropastoraux, annonce un communiqué parvenu à notre rédaction.
Cet évènement entre dans le cadre d’un programme de vulgarisation de bonnes pratiques agricoles pour une fertilisation raisonnée dans la filière maïs, renseigne la même source.
L’objectif du groupe marocain est de sensibiliser plus de 5 500 petits producteurs dans le grand Ouest (Nord-Ouest, Ouest et Littoral) aux bonnes pratiques de fertilisation raisonnée pendant la prochaine campagne de maïs. La sensibilisation se fera à travers la mise en place d’une trentaine de parcelles de démonstrations dans les 2 zones agro-écologiques que compte le grand Ouest pour expérimenter des couples d’intrants : semences hybrides à haut rendement, engrais et/ou pesticides en fonction de la spécificité des sols.
