La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) accueille la finale du concours télévisé panafricain intitulé « Voix des Jeunes », le 3 février 2017, sur le thème « Quelles solutions pour attirer les jeunes dans l’emploi agricole ? ».
Organisé en collaboration avec Social Change Factory, centre de leadership citoyen et initiateur du concours, le programme « Voix des Jeunes » est l’occasion, pour la Banque, d’atteindre un public de 700 000 jeunes à travers le continent, et de mieux faire connaitre et déployer sa Stratégie 2016-2025 pour l’emploi des jeunes en Afrique.
Ce concours réunit des étudiants issus d’universités publiques et d’écoles privées supérieures d’Afrique de l’Ouest. Ces jeunes doivent faire montre de leurs capacités d’analyse et d’argumentation et se faire force de proposition de solutions innovantes aux problèmes socio-économiques majeurs du continent, en particulier ceux qui touchent la jeunesse.
Au cours de cette finale à l’échelle ouest-africaine, les équipes gagnantes des compétitions nationales organisées précédemment au Sénégal, en Guinée et en Côte d’Ivoire, représenteront leurs pays respectifs en s’affrontant sur trois des Cinq grandes priorités de la Banque, dites “Top 5” – Éclairer l’Afrique, Nourrir l’Afrique, Industrialiser l’Afrique, Intégrer l’Afrique, Améliorer la qualité de vie des Africains.
Une exposition multimédia ainsi que la projection d’une rétrospective de l’édition 2016 de Voix des Jeunes viendront notamment accompagner l’enregistrement de l’émission.
Quelque 400 participants sont attendus à l’enregistrement de l’émission, dont une délégation de jeunes étudiants de Côte d’Ivoire, des représentants d’institutions partenaires au développement et des représentants des autorités ivoiriennes.
