Le résultat net comptable de la Société ivoirienne de câbles (Sicable) a fait un grand bond en avant de 1719% au terme du premier trimestre 2020 comparé à la même période de 2019, ont annoncé les dirigeants de cette entreprise basée à Abidjan.
Ce résultat est passé de 19,2 millions de FCFA au 31 mars 2019 à 349,4 millions de FCFA au 31 mars 2020, soit une forte augmentation de 330,2 millions de FCFA.
Quant au chiffre d’affaires de la société, il s’est établi à 5,467 milliards de FCFA contre 2,732 milliards de FCFA au premier trimestre 2019, soit une hausse de 2,734 milliards de FCFA. Cette belle embellie est justifiée par les dirigeants de la Sicable par le caractère fourni du carnet de commande en produits fabriqués. A cela s’ajoute le fait que le projet d’enfouissement du réseau HTA de la ville d’Abidjan continue à tirer les ventes de négoces qui représentent 51% du chiffre d’affaires.
« Le contraste avec le premier trimestre 2019 est d’autant plus marqué que celui avait été lourdement impacté par une rupture de matières premières de presque un mois », ont souligné les responsables de la société.
Le résultat d’exploitation s’est amélioré de 580 millions de FCFA , passant d’une situation déficitaire de 20,3 millions de FCFA au premier trimestre 2019 à une situation excédentaire de 559,7 millions de FCFA un an plus tard.
