L’épargne de la sous-région sollicitée pour la réalisation des projets de développement conformément au calendrier prévisionnel des émissions de titres publics.
Le Cameroun va une fois de plus recourir sur le marché de la Banque des Etats de l’Afrique centrale (BEAC) en vue de mobiliser des fonds destinés à la réalisation des projets de développement inscrits dans la loi de finance 2020, dont l’enveloppe initiale de 4951,7 milliards a été ramenée à 4049 milliards de FCFA en juin dernier à cause de la pandémie du Coronavirus.
Pour ce troisième trimestre, le Cameroun projette de mobiliser 110 milliards de FCFA essentiellement par le biais des Bons du trésor assimilables (BTA) dans les six pays de la Communauté économique et monétaire de l’Afrique centrale (CEMAC).
Dans les détails, 50 milliards de FCFA seront mobilisés pour le mois de juillet contre 30 milliards de FCFA respectivement pour les mois d’août et de septembre.
Des prévisions budgétaires en baisse par rapport au deuxième trimestre dernier, où le Cameroun avait sollicité le marché de la sous-région pour rechercher 220 milliards de FCFA à travers des émissions de BTA et des Obligations du trésor assimilables (OTA).Les fonds mobilisés seront destinés à plusieurs secteurs de production, notamment les infrastructures routières à travers la construction, l’aménagement et réhabilitation des routes, des projets de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations (CAN) avec l’aménagement des voies d’accès et des équipements connexes, l’eau et énergie pour ce qui est de l’approvisionnement, de la production et le transport d’énergie, puis, les équipements sanitaires et ainsi que des contributions aux fonds pour endémies en l’occurrence, la pandémie du Coronavirus.
